National Exhibition Centre

Location – Birmingham

Requirement: Large, High Specification, Durable Projection Display for a Challenging Environment.

The Brief

A recent project undertaken was the installation of a 7 meter wide projection display. It featured moving images and HD content and required a system that was both aesthetically impressive, durable and one that could perform under the unique pressures of the NEC. Drake AV installed a Projector, supported by a 7-meter wide high-gain SuperNova screen.

The display is located at the entrance to the centre and as such needed to both impress and captivate visitors and staff. The SuperNova screen allowed the display to remain crisp and clear in a challenging environment and is clearly visible in both day and night. Drake AV oversaw every aspect of the process, from design and proposal, right the way through to installation and aftercare, ensuring a smooth, measured process and completion. The NEC used the newly created display to earn revenue from advertising, that has ensured a quick ROI and now creates additional income for the organisation.
