Live Video Link-Up Between Two Venues
The Event...
The Wales Cardiac Network held their main annual review conference at the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff with a 200 person audience and a number of presenters. Meanwhile, the other part of the event took place in Venue Cymru, Llandudno with a smaller audience of 50 persons. Speakers at the two venues presented to both sets of audiences and the audiences asked questions. They were all able to see and hear each other clearly.

Virtual Conference
Bringing people together with live video.
The two venues at opposite corners of Wales were filled with delegates and presenters all communicating to each other using live video. All this achieved without having to travel the 400 miles from the respective corners of Wales and all the costs associated with it. Drake AV set up a camera at the SWALEC Stadium and transmitted live video of the presenter and their presentation to Venue Cymru. The audience in North Wales were able to ask questions to the presenters in South Wales and vice versa. An MC at each end ensured the smooth running of the conference. As well as video conference equipment Drake AV supplied a 2-screen backdrop set, sound and lighting equipment at the SWALEC Stadium, along with professional technical support. At Venue Cymru Drake AV provided all the visual, sound and video conference equipment to ensure the link between the two venues ran smoothly.
