Menzies were already regular users of Poly video meeting systems. They needed their new flagship office in Cardiff to work just the same.

Their system uses a Clickshare CX20 with a Poly Studio USB soundbar. This means anyone can use the Clickshare button to present and to host a video meeting. So all their rooms can be used equally well for Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet.

Although the Poly Studio has excellent audio pickup the new rooms are fairly reverberant and they found they get better audio for the far end by adding a Poly expansion microphone to the system. This sits in the middle of the meeting room table.

Drake AV installed this system in three rooms and the breakfast area. In the breakfast area there’s  game console connected to the 86″ screen as well as the usual meeting equipment.

Each room also has an SY button control panel to easily turn the system on and off, adjust volume and select the input source.

By the door of each room there is a Yealink room booking panel showing when a room is in use and when it is free.
